Spiritual Gifts Inventory and Formation of Team

As you look ahead to when you may have a team, or as you consider working in connection with your Local Partners, it can be very helpful to be familiar with the spiritual gifts that God has given you so that you can understand how you may best fit together as a team with others that you are working alongside.

In this case, we will be looking at the spiritual gifts listed in Ephesians 4:

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

To complete this inventory, you should go to this page and purchase the test. You will receive two emails: one will be your receipt and the other will be your invitation to complete the test.

Once you have completed the test, you should receive a report similar to this example. You should bring your completed report to our focus meeting. We will use these as a basis for our discussion, answering questions like these:

• What are your primary gifts?
• What are secondary gifts?
• What does this say about you?
  • How do you expect that you will be the most help to the team?
  • How do you expect that others will need to fill in with stronger gifts than you?
• What types of people would you expect to be attracted to in your work?
• What types of people do you need to be working with you to be the most effective in your work?
