Red Light, Yellow Light, Green Light
When people hear your Testimony or hear the Gospel, they will react in different ways. Let’s look at a time when the apostle Paul shared the Gospel in Athens and see how the people reacted to what he told them:
When they heard about the resurrection of the dead, some of them sneered, but others said, “We want to hear you again on this subject.” At that, Paul left the Council. Some of the people became followers of Paul and believed. Among them was Dionysius, a member of the Areopagus, also a woman named Damaris, and a number of others.

After Paul shared the Gospel, we see three different types of reactions:
First, some of the people sneered when they heard about the resurrection of the dead. These people are not interested to learn more. We call these people “red lights”.
Second, some of the people said that they wanted to hear more from Paul about what he had taught, so they invited him to speak again. We call this type of person a “yellow light”.
And third, a few people believed and became disciples of Jesus, following Paul to learn more from him. We refer to these people as “green lights”.
