Your Testimony

In the last lesson, we saw that Jesus told the demon-possessed man that he should go home to his own people and tell them of the mercy that God has had upon him. Jesus wanted him to tell others his own story!

Then, just before Jesus returned to heaven to be with the Father, he said this:

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Acts 1:8

Jesus told his disciples that they would be his witnesses. In other words, they would talk about the things that they saw and did as they were walking with Jesus. We are supposed to do the same.
