Pakistan Stories from the Harvest Field

How the Kingdom Grows in Pakistan

June 3, 2026

At a recent training for our Pakistani leadership team, our team was able to teach Mark 4:26-29, a parable from Jesus that speaks about the growth of the kingdom of God. Jesus said:

“This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.”

We have adopted a tool that helps us understand this parable, along with a practical ministry plan from the parable, called the Four Fields. That parable became the basis of the training that we did with our leaders over the period of a week, going step by step through the parable, making each step practical in the sharing of the Gospel, making disciples of Christ, and gathering people into churches.

Now, those same leaders are teaching their leaders who are teaching the churches. Pray for many more people to be sent out from the churches so that others can follow Christ and more churches can be planted!
