The Apostolic Band project—sending people from the local immigrant population to catalyze discipleship and church-planting movements among the unreached—is continuing on strong. This time we have news about new work beginning among local workers in Indonesia.

Indonesia is the largest Muslim-majority country in the world, with an estimated 240 million Muslims—a population unlike any other. Like every nation, it needs the Gospel, yet the number of Christians there remains very small.

God recently opened a door for Sultan to attend a conference held by another organization, where he presented a way of sharing the Gospel with Muslims. That single opportunity has led to others, and we now have the chance to develop a team of disciple makers and church planters in Indonesia. We’ll soon begin meeting online with these brothers and sisters, who have a heart to make disciples and plant churches. Our plan is to connect them with the hub we’re developing in Southeast Asia, so they can continue planting churches both locally and regionally.

Please pray for this new team—that God would make them faithful followers of Christ and strong leaders of many, and that these first small efforts would bear fruit in new disciples and new churches.
