While Ryan has primarily been busy in leading the summer internship in Catania, Gina, Evan and Julia were able to participate in the English Summer Camp, sponsored by our friends at SINAI. They had a great week and were thrilled with the opportunity for many children, both Italians and refugees, to hear the Gospel and learn about Christ in the midst of a fun environment. If you are able, please come and join in volunteering at the camp next year!

Evan and Julia were then able to go to their own teens camp at Ispicamp, their first time to be campers themselves away from home. Exciting times for the two of them along with LilyAnn from our team in Catania and a group of 50 Italians with whom they had a great week!

Meanwhile, Hannah is continuing to work hard, offering lessons in Italian for English-speakers, English for Italian-speakers, and piano lessons. She has recently been able to purchase her own car and become tax-legal, like a freelancer who receives a 1099 income statement in the US, so that she can set up her own tax base and residency. She is beginning to spread her wings so that she can fly!

Finally, Ellie, who moved to university last year in Tampa, FL, has finished her first year with excellent grades. She has been working a job at the university botanical gardens and has recently also taken a job with a local veterinary clinic, learning more about the type of job for which she is studying, to become a veterinarian one day. She has also been involved with a campus outreach with the Tampa Underground, a network of churches in the Tampa area and has recently been accepted into a community of believers where she will live and grow in learning to lead others to follow Christ.
