This month, we turned 9! On June 27, 2016, we arrived in Catania to start our ministry and work here. We never would have imagined the path that God had for us here, and we feel that we have only just begun. We continue to listen to him for his leading and guidance, taking our next steps forward in an effort to give God the greatest amount of glory possible with the gift of the lives that he has given us.
Our family lives and works with immigrants and refugees solely by donations. Would you like to support our family and our work? You can do so by clicking on the button below:

Our family has been very busy over the last few weeks with the arrival of the internship team that we mentioned above. It has been a wonderful time for each of our family members that remain in Sicily.
Evan and Julia finished their first year of high school and are continuing with summer activities. Evan is continuing with rock climbing and Julia has been learning to make pottery, taught by a friend from the small homeschool network of which our family has been a part over the last few years.
Finally, we had a wonderful opportunity to spend time with Gina’s parents for two months, even traveling to northern Italy for a few days together with Gary and Dianne while also having her sister Sharon and husband Thad in town for a week during their vacation.
